联合学院特邀爱丁堡龙比亚大学学术英语中心Iain Arnott主任，带来“Presentation Skills”专题讲座。讲座将围绕两大核心展开：一是声音与肢体语言——从音量、投射、语速到姿态、手势、表情，讲解如何有效表达；二是幻灯片制作——文字精简、图文相关、配色清晰、字体够大，做好拼写检查与引用标注。讲座还将强调充分准备与练习的重要性，帮你避开“满屏文字、过多动画、糟糕配色”等常见错误。

The Joint College invites theHead of EAPCentre, Edinburgh Napier Universityto deliver a special lecture onPresentation Skills. The session covers two core areas:voice and body language—volume, projection, pace, posture, gestures and facial expression; andslide design—keep text concise, use relevant visuals, choose a clear colour scheme, use large fonts, and always spell-check and cite your sources. The lecture will also stress the importance of thorough preparation and practice, helping you avoid common mistakes such as“walls of text, excessive animation and poor colour schemes.”
